At Achievement Unlocked, we know that not every young person thrives sitting still in front of a whiteboard. and that’s why our approach is rooted in experiential learning. These hands-on experiences give young people the chance to connect classroom knowledge with real-world purpose, taking on meaningful missions that make an impact both personally and within their communities. Over the years, the young people we support have made a huge impact on our local area; From making accessible pathways in community allotments to building wildlife ponds, we've seen it all and these projects have all helped to develop practical, teamworking and problem solving skills along the way.
Research shows that active involvement, which anchors learning in direct experience, has proven benefits to young learners and our experience and approach has had a positive influence on behaviour, empathy, and well-being in young people we serve. Because our learning always ties back to real-world scenarios rooted within our learners very neighbourhoods, we often find this element of our programme has the most impact. At the end of the day, these are young people who walk away from their day of learning feeling proud of what they've achieved and there is a tangible legacy of their hard work for everyone to admire.
If you believe learning should be active, adventurous, and personal, Achievement Unlocked might just be the right path for you. To arrange a visit or referral, contact Jaye Crew at jaye.crew@inspireachieve.co.uk or call 07932 649756.
